For time and all eternity

We had the priviledge of being apart of Wes' and Katryna's wedding. We were able to be there when they were sealed in the Albuquerque, NM temple on August 22, 2009. It was a very busy weekend, but it was so much fun to see family together again. On Saturday, all the girls went to a fabulous nail and spa place and got manis and pedis and then went to Dions for lunch. Then it was time to get serious and set up for the wedding at the outside pavilion. It was beautiful! Katryna looked so beautiful and Wes looked very content with his bride. We are so happy for you two!

I have to just say...

Today I found out that a friend from EAC 's husband passed away from Lupus and Valley Fever. This has been on my mind all day and it really makes me just want to cry for them!
It has made me think of how greatly blessed I am to have all the time I have with my husband. He has been the best thing to ever happen to me and I can't imagine life without him. I find myself some days not FULLY appreciating what this great, amazing man has done for me and has made me happy to be alive and I realize that I can NEVER, EVER take the time I have with him for granted. Yes, we don't have children yet, but just look at the extra days I have had to grow closer to him and love him even more.
Thank you Heavenly Father for the years I have been so blessed with to spend it with my best friend and to be with him for eternity. What more could I ask for.
I love you, Lyle!

More VanVleet Reunion Pictures

I know I didn't do too many pictures from the family reunion because I didn't have very many...I finally got some (thanks Mom) and so I thought I'd post some that haven't been posted on other's blogs.
There's a lot of them (I haven't yet figured how to do the collages...if any one knows feel free to fill me in) but I just loved all of these! These pictures are filled with cute kids because that was how the reunion was...filled with kids for lyle and I (and the other aunts) to have as much fun with as possible!
Enjoy!

I just love my brother-in-law!...

...And all my bros!

Life:

This post is for my sister...since nothing is happening in life aside from the typical life, she thinks that I need to just post about Life. So here it is.

It's HOT! Day 19 of consecutive temps in the triple digits. Yuck! So life happens indoors mostly nowdays.

Lyle's work is still doing their typical retarded decision making and doing the non-needed stuff and ignoring the needed stuff. Ugh!

I've been working 1-5:30 at the flower shop (still love it!) but it makes for a long day when you have to spend the morning running errands, cleaning, dr appointments (I feel like I see one every week!), store, and then battling the insurance. THEN running home just to turn around and head to the gym.

At least when we both FINALLY sit down at night (around 8) we can relax with our typical...Lyle playing a computer game, I'm playing Mario Brother's 3 and both watching Angel on the laptop.

One fun thing is that we found Jaz a friend to play with at the park. Her name is Ariae and her owners live in the complex right against the park so their back gate opens to the park. She is also a lab and is about 7 months old and finally has more energy than Jaz. They run all over together and we enjoy talking to Erin and Robert. So when we head home, she is ACTUALLY tired and ready to fall asleep. It's great!

That's it...that's life as it is.

I told you so!

When I was still in high school, I took a trip (my first) to Mesa, AZ with the Ketchesons. While we were there, we all went to a pizza place called OrganStop Pizza. It was AMAZING! It's an organ that is hooked up to many other instruments and puppets and stuff and a man plays (off the top of his head) any requested music such as Phantom of the Opera, Star Wars, Sound of Music, The Little Mermaid, Mickey Mouse Club, etc...

Three years ago, I moved to Gilbert, AZ and tried to convince my husband and others that this place was worth going to see...but no-"No one wants to go to a place with the name organ stop!"

Three years later...our good friend Jake had his birthday and his awesome wife decided to suprise him with dinner with friends and family at -ORGAN STOP PIZZA! So we go and to my non-suprise...Lyle thinks it's awesome! and he tells me..."We should bring my family here to see this!"

I told you so!
